Volcanos & Hurricanes, Oh My!

Students have been hard at work on Operation Montserrat so far this year.  Already, students have learned how to predict whether a volcano will erupt and they are now learning how to track a hurricane.  This will all lead to the eMission that will take place later next month (I will email you all with the exact date within the next week).

I have taken more photos, yet for some reason they did not all come out.  Here are the photos I do have so far!

The Great Kermit Caper

Students wrapped up the CSI seminar today by taking part in trying to solve the Great Kermit Caper.  Students were detectives assigned to figure out who killed Kermit... but was he dead?!

CSI Fun

Students kicked off the day in Gifted by working as crime scene investigators.  My room became a make-shift crime lab and students had to comb through the evidence to make a determination of what happened.
